+ High Speed (HS) wireless module IC. This revolutionary wireless
module is to enhance the wireless experience for mobile devices
including, mobile phones, smartbooks, eBook readers, digital
still cameras (DSCs), portable media players (PMPs), and gaming
devices which require high bandwidth and better power efficiency.
AzureWave will demonstrate the 11n + BT combo module IC embedded
devices in CES at South Hall 4, Booth #36429.
This wireless module IC has a small footprint, cutting edge
wireless performance, flexible power management and multiple
OS support for multitasking smartphones and mobile devices.
The superior Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence guarantees seamless
and smooth data transfer. Combining with the latest Bluetooth
3.0 technology + HS, the wireless Module IC can support a
wide variety of mobile devices to quickly and easily transfer
rich media contents, and implement high speed synchronization
with other BT 3.0 + HS enabled devices.
According to In-Stat, The rapid proliferation of 11n is demanded
by consumers asking for higher bandwidth to stream HD video
and download advanced applications from web stores. Therefore,
smartphones are rapidly requiring more powerful processors,
better battery technologies, more competent web browsers and
multitasking capabilities due to more bandwidth intensive
applications. In this case, consumers are willing to favor
mobile CE devices equipped with the integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
combo module IC.
A new level of wireless innovation
In addition to providing 11n and Bluetooth combo module IC
for personal network, AzureWave also introduced the new Wi-Fi
Direct solution to establish a seamlessly connected digital
home.
The ground breaking Wi-Fi Direct specification has been recently
released by Wi-Fi Alliance and embraced by leading Chipset
companies. Wi-Fi Direct can be implemented in any Wi-Fi equipped
devices, from mobile phones, cameras, printers, and notebook
computers, to human interface devices such as keyboards and
headphones. Consumers can easily connect all these devices
without joining a traditional home network. The new concept
of seamlessly wireless digital home will be unveiled at the
upcoming CES at booth 36429 from Jan. 7th to 10th.
